Salt Spring Island Cheese

At Salt Spring Island Cheese Company, we are known for our chèvres. We specialize in goat and sheep cheese that is made right on our farm, just off of Canada’s west coast.

Founded in 1994, we began selling our cheese in 1996. While we are principally known for our chèvres, we also produce several other types of goat cheeses, including feta cheeses, surface-ripened cheeses, and even a hard cheese.

Our cheese is crafted on our farm on Salt Spring Island, and while you can find our products as far east as Toronto, we encourage you to visit the island, wander the farm, and taste the cheese fresh for yourself.
